Research Program

We are always conducting some research programs, comparing the mobile system with the standard hospital care, regarding to complications, costs and patient acceptance. We also study alternative surgical and anesthesia procedures, looking for excellence in our health delivery system.

At present, we are conducting an investigation in surgical postoperative complications, the use of mobile telephones for pre and postoperative care, local anesthetic infiltration for control of postoperative pain in children, and local anesthesia for hernia repair.

As result of our research programs we have 42 publications in the United States, Great Britain and Ecuador. There are also 13 articles written in scientific journals about The Cinterandes Foundation. Our experience has been presented in 28 international scientific meetings.
